Dive into the tropical vibes at Freedomfest, where the MIDFLORIDA Event Center transforms into an island paradise! Groove with the Landsharks Band live from 5-9 PM.
Best part? It’s free for everyone!
Schedule of events:
  • 4 p.m. Festivities begin!
  • 4 - 10 p.m. Free laser tag. Open to all ages.
  • 6 p.m. Hot dog eating contest: Participants will eat as many hotdogs and buns as possible in 5 minutes. The winner will receive a trophy and will be crowned king or queen of hotdogs.
  • 6:30 - 9 p.m. Landsharks performing
  • 9 p.m. Fireworks (weather permitting)

​​​​​​Plan to light up the night at McCarty Ranch Preserve during the City's annual Harvest Hayride & Bonfire in the Preserve!

Walk through the hand-carved jack-o-lantern trail that will have more than 200 hand-carved pumpkins! Jump on a hayride with your family and friends and take a short tour of the preserve!

There also will be a petting zoo, lots of spots to take photos, horseback riding, a pumpkin patch, food trucks and, of course, a bonfire!

Dance the day away with live music from Burnt Biscuit, and DJ ATM will be spinning sounds for some fun family entertainment.

Admission is free and there will be chills and thrills for the whole family!
